In Norse Mythology, It is possible for Elves to fall in love and marry humans. Eirik is one of these elves. He never could love any of the female elves. He felt that nobody loved him in the Elven woods.

It would be okay that girl has the same problem in her world. She never saw an Elf so she would have to be shy...
