Bam Bam approached Granbull.

You know... You're Father... Shadow and him, were fighting, and they both... Fell over the edge of the cliff. You're Father is dead... He told him, not sure what his reaction would be like

I know... Granbull said... That's why you're going to the otherworld. He gave a wolfy grin, but behind the smile was a slight ammusmant.

Nipur stood back, No, no, NO! She barked, I'm NOT going back there!

Bam Bam stood back next to Nipur and licked her muzzle. Don't worry... We're not going to the Otherworld. He reassured her.

He didn't completely know about the Otherworld and what it was like, but he had heard a little about it in Cub Stories.

Granbull shook his head, You have to go to the otherworld! The line of wolf magicians must continue otherwise the world shall go to chaos... He barked.

Nipur shrank back... She didn't like this fight.

Bam Bam looked at Granbull, then at Nipur. So be it. I will go there... But Nipur must stay here! I don't want to see her hurt. He explained, adamantly.

So be it... Granbull nodded. He looked at his niece... You shall await Bam Bam's return here... Then he walked over to the stream and looked down into it... It was so clear that you could see to the bottom... There, a few paces below the surface was many small brightly coloured stones, and in the middle of them was a huge dark purple stone... The portal to the Otherworld.

Bam Bam looked at Nipur and licked her muzzle. "I think I... Love you" He stuttered, looking deep into her eyes. Feeling embarrassed and frightened for her reaction, he stepped back and lowered his head, walking over to the strange purple stone. He hoped he was ready.

I love you too... Nipur whispered as Bam Bam stepped away.

Jump into the stream, you will know what to do when you get to the other side... Find Firedeath. Granbull barked.

Bam Bam nodded. Be safe... He told them both. He jumped into the stream, taking a deep breath as he didn't know what to expect. Suddenly, he was plunged into the Otherworld.

Nipur looked at her uncle... The old male wolf nodded. And she jumped after Bam Bam, landing next to him. She licked his muzzle, I'm here for you...

Granbull smiled... His work was done... He walked over to the huge paw stone and placed his head against it... Igarnio... He whispered and his body turned to dust... And floated along upon the wind.

Bam Bam whined, and pinned Nipur to the ground forcefully. I told you to wait for my return! Bam Bam lowered his head and sighed, there was nothing that could be done now.

Nipur looked around... This place looked like a normal forest. She took a step forward and the place where her paw touched the ground fell. She jumped back and looked at the hole... It was black with a slight purple tinge to it.

Bam Bam grasped to Nipur's side protectively. Be careful! P-Please... He muttered, finishing with an anxious whimper. He leapt over the hole, almost losing his footing, then continued along the mysterious path.

Nipur followed him and through the trees saw what appeared to be shadows... But were 3d. They moved through the trees silently and quickly...

Bam Bam felt his mind whirr. Everything... It had all changed. He felt dizzy, and a pang of sickness lurched from his stomach. He shook out his fur, and increased his brisk pace.

Nipur felt ill slightly, she could see Bam Bam felt the same... She suddenly felt an overwelming sence of power... She was sure this was Firedeath's aura.

Bam Bam's eyes widened. A distinct scent lingered in the air. Demons... He muttered. His tail began to twitch at the repulsive aroma.

Nipur cuddled up closer to Bam Bam, Bam Bam, I'm scared... She whimpered and her tail drooped between her legs. She could feel the demons creeping closer, inch by inch, foot by foot. Then they froze, and scattered. A loud disconfigured yet recongisable howl shook the forest.

Bam Bam's ears pricked up at the howl. He then turned to Nipur, and licked her muzzle. Don't worry... He tried to comfort her, but he was also scared. He didn't know what chance they stood against Firedeath. I... I will look after you...

Nipur could feel him before she saw him. His aura was strong. She looked up and instead of seeing Firedeath as he had been in life she saw a mere shadow. A shadow of what once was. Instead of a body he was a mere absence of light. But among there she could see two red glowing eyes. And she knew this was firedeath.

What is it you want? The creature asked, but it wasn't outloud. it was as if the question had been asked within their own heads.

Bam Bam shook his head. The voice had been clearer than a wolf's yip. He didn't understand. He sniffed at the shadow from a distance, but kept back next to Nipur.

I need you're help, Sir Bam Bam explained, his confidence growing slightly.

What with... Young magician? Firedeath's soul replied. He knew a way this could work for him...

Nipur didn't like this... Firedeath seemed too eager to help. There was bound to be a catch somewhere.

Bam Bam was confused also, he thought that it wouldn't even be considered. "I... I need to get my pawprint, onto the stone. Because I'm a magician now" He explained, flicking his tail proudly.

Firedeath's soul seemed to circle them. "In which case... For a deed like that I ask that you release me from this horrible place back to the world of the living. Then I will show you how to place your pawprint on the stone."

Nipur shivered, "Is it really worth that Bam Bam?" She wimpered.

Bam Bam lowered his head and trapped his tail between his legs. What if it was a trick? It was something that needed to be done though. "Ok... But if you fail to get my pawprint on the stone, you may well end up here, again" He explained.
