1-1 with Lexy

'Sounds good. Um...can I talk to you privately?' Takoda asked licking the blood off her snout.

Shadow nodded and walked out of the glade, past Takoda and waited for her amongst the trees.

Wind and Blake ate quietly, Wind trying to keep the blood off his white coat and Blake thinking about Nayati.

'What is WITH Blake and Nayati? I'm hearing mixed thoughts from those two and I'm hugely confused...

Nayati eyed Takoda suspiciously as she disappeared from view.

"Don't you know?" Shadow laughed, "They used to be mates... Then they broke up and Blake found a new mate, then she died and now they have feelings for each other without the other knowing, and they're both too scared to admit it."

Takoda thought about this for a minute. 'Nayati never told me...but Nayati has had a mate since then too. I don't know where he is now... Are you sure they still like each other?' She asked peering out at Nayati whose back was turned to Blake.

"You don't become a wolf magician without learning a few tricks..." Shadow smiled, "You read minds. I read emotions..."

Takoda laughed. 'I see' she replied.

Nayati swallowed her last piece of meat and looked back at Blake. 'Do you intend to talk or just pretend as if i'm some strange rogue wolf?' She asked in annoyance. Takoda glanced back at Nayati and lifted up her ears to catch what Nayati was saying. 'Should we-?' she asked slowly glancing back at Shadow.

Shadow nodded and walked back into the glade, "Peace Nayati... Blake is just confused." He smiled at Nayati and turned to his brothers. "Blake, be friendly, she may be an ex-mate but she is a guest..."

Blake snorted slightly and turned his head away from Shadow and Nayati.

Wind growled at Blake and shook his head.

Takoda glanced at Nayati to Blake to Shadow and then to Wind. Then she looked at the ground. "So did you guys smell that demon scent coming down from the mountain?" Takoda asked. 'The trees were whispering of it too' spat Nayati before biting at a flea.

**yeh just tryin to make something happen...or something hehe**

"It's been getting worse for days..." Wind growled looking up at the mountain.

Shadow nodded, agreeing with Wind. "I tried to see what was happening up there, but it wouldn;t allow my magic..."

*ok if i bring one of my charries in later?(*

"We aren't going to try and see what it is?' asked Takoda impatiently. Nayati rolled her eyes. Takoda growled at looked up the slope at the mountain in the distance, just visible overr the treetops.

*Sure!*

Shadow looked at Takoda with questioning eyes, "Have you learnt to control your rage yet?"

Wind tilted his head and looked at Takoda too, "Rage?"

Takoda glanced at her sleek black paws. 'Can we define control?' She laughed nervously. Nayati gave a short bark of laughter. 'She can never control it. I don't think its something she can ever overcome' she explained. 'Last time it happened, Nayati's brother was there. He could only just stop me from killing them'

"Hmm..." Shadow said thoughtfully, "I can keep you from killing us, but I can't keep you from going into the rage... That is, if you think we should go?"

I think we should go. I might end up killing the demon! Even though I rarely ever kill the reason I go into the rage in the first place' she growled. Nayati looked up. 'If we're heading up onto the mountain, then I think my brotther should accompany us.'

"Oh yes, then maybe we can invite Firedeath too?" Blake snarled, turning around.

Shadow growled slightly at Blake and turned to Nayati, "Please call your brother, ignore Blake..." He smiled at her then turned back to his brother. "Blake, stop it or I will tie you to a tree and leave you there."

Nayati lifted her snout and raced off into the Forest to summon her brother. She loped up the steep hill and to the place where their pack had left them as cubs. SHe paused to catch her breath and leapt onto a rock. She lifted her muzzle and howled. She waited a few moments but there was no answer. She howled once more and far off in the distant she heard the howl of her brother. 'Sabre. I need your help!' Nayati called. 'I'm coming sister' was the reply. Nayati smiled. He was coming no questions asked.

Back at the clearing Takoda sighed as she heard Sabre's reply. Nayati's brother made her uneasy.

"So what's wrong with this Sabre?" Shadow asked Takoda, walking over to her. He sat infront of her, watching her and soaking in her emotions, unease at Sabre's coming, excitement of going to the mountain and a bit of worry in there too about the rage...

Wind sat with Blake, "You need to stop this... She may of been your mate and you may of broken up, but you still love each other. I know that for a fact."

Blake shook his head, "She doesn't love me..." He lay down and put his head on his pads.

Takoda shifted uncomfortably. 'I don't know..he's just weird. And a little intimidating. And... he makes rocks and stuff move. Its hard to explain but, I guess you'll see when he gets here...' She said shrugging.

"He makes rocks and stuff move?" Shadow laughed, "Sort of like this?" He looked over at a boulder near them, it floated up in the air, did a full circle around them and went back to it's spot, "It's not that hard."

Wind shook his head, "She does love you... Ask her."

'Yes! Stuff exactly like that. It's strange. I mean, he controls earth and...and rock and Nayati speaks with the trees... that's probably why they'll be helpful up on the Mountain' she sighed.

Nayati lifted her ears as she could finally hear her brother's barks only about two hundred lopes away. She trotted back down to where Takoda and the others were. 'He'll be here soon'

"Good, I'm looking forward to meeting him..." Shadow smiled smuggly. Then winked at Takoda.

Blake walked forward to Nayati, bowed his head slightly, "I'm sorry..." He whimpered.

Wind smiled and walked over to stand next to Shadow.

Nayati took a small step back in surprise. "I...it's okay. I'm sorry too' she said gently.

Takoda lifted her ears and heard the thundering of pawsteps getting closer. Like the thundering of crashing rocks. She whimpered softly and cleared her throat. 'I think your brother is here' she woofed

Shadow turned to face the direction of the pawsteps, "Sabre I pressume?" He asked the male wolf before him. He had a large mane and a rather stubby tail. A rather fierce face though... He could tell why Takoda was uneasy about him... But Shadow didn't care, nothing scared him now adays.

Blake smiled at Nayati and stepped back, raising his head he locked gazes with Sabre for a second.

Sabre looked down at the wolves in the clearing. He shut his eyes as solid thoughts came at him in waves. He opened his blazing green eyes. He walked over to his sister and looked down at her face. 'You have a new scar' He said quietly. 'Being a warrior, that happens' she replied. Sabre looked over at Takoda. He spoke more with his eyes than with his gestures. Takoda gave a grin and then muttered and pretended to be playing with lizards.
