No... But we made a promise to ourselves that we would kill you... And we made a promise to Firedeath that we would end the line of magicians. Carnage snarled and jumped forward at Bam Bam, teeth bared.

Bam Bam whimpered as he was struck by Carnage then used a spell to throw him off. He was weakening, severely. He didn't know how much longer he could go on. Leave me alone... He cried.

Carnage fell back and twisted his paw, he yelped loudly. Dash, finish them! I can't walk! He barked. He tried to stand but sucseeded in falling back down he started working on a quick healing charm.

The black wolf raced quickly through the forest... He had to help those two wolves... One of them was the wolf magician, and the other... His niece.

Dash shook his head at Carnage, laughing in his head silently. He ran at Bam Bam and clamped his muzzle around his, making Bam Bam yelp in pain. He smiled then walked around to his tail where he snapped it within his jaw, then took his muzzle away, Bam Bam's fur visible in his muzzle. Bam Bam was being tortured, and there was nothing he could do but endure.

Granbull howled and charged at the wolf lying on the floor, he bit it's bad leg and threw it onto the wolf attacking the magician.

Carnage yelped again as he landed on Dash, We're leaving! He barked and teleported away.

Dash followed, teleporting. Bam Bam blinked a few times. Who was his saviour? H-Hello... He muttered. It started to sink in how bad he had been, not able to protect Nipur and himself. He was no wolf magician... It was not his fate!

Granbull bent over them both and licked his niece's muzzle, her eyes fluttered open, her energy restored. He licked the wolf magician's muzzle next.

Nipur was worried, who was this familiar black wolf?

Bam Bam caught his breath back. "Who are you?" He asked curiously. He swished his tail aggressively, trying to release some stored energy inside of him.

My name is Granbull... The black wolf grinned, Follow me. He turned and padded off into the dark.

Nipur nodded at Bam Bam, We can trust him... He's my uncle.

Bam Bam licked Nipur's muzzle, and followed the Older wolf. He healed his tail, by muttering a chant, and shook out his fur.

Where are you taking us? Bam Bam asked curiously, making sure not to lose the wolf names, Granbull.

A safe place... I want my corpse to be undisturbed... Granbull said. He walked southward... Towards the one place evil dared not tread... The place where Shadow the Wise completed his training 9 summers ago...

Bam Bam didn't really understand what this strange wolf meant, but regardless, he trundled on. He looked at Nipur. Are you alright? I'm sorry about those wolves that attacked us... Their ridden with jealousy. About me becoming a Magician, and... I think of me, well... Being with you! He chuckled, hoping she wouldn't be offended.

No need to apolagise... They are morons, power hungry and stupid. She licked his muzzle as they walked. Granbull... Do you realise who I am?

Of course I do... The large black wolf smiled, You're Kitar's daughter...

Bam Bam felt rather left out, realising the bond between the two wolves. He didn't really have a family. He was abandoned as a cub, and he couldn't remember anything about them. He didn't know any of his relatives, it was all... Blank.

Nevertheless, he listened politely to the conversation.

Granbull arrived at the edge of a great glade. He stopped for a second then entered. The glade was free of any evil at all. The sun shone upon the bright green grass and the rocks stood together in large clean clumps. A small clean stream ran straight through the centre. On the otherside of the steam stood a huge rock on its own.

Nipur looked around in awe at the amazing place she was stood... It was beautiful.

Excitedly, Bam Bam ran through the glade, sniffing the fresh, clean scents. He paddled through the stream, his tongue loping out happily. He rolled in the beautiful green grass and looked up at the sky. He sighed, and shut his eyes. Finally! He could relax.

Granbull walked over to the rock... He'd only heard rumours of it's excistense... He looked at it and slowly he could make out the indents of those that gave the rock its name. Paw Rock. Every wolf magician was bought here by his or her master when they completed their training to place their paw on the stone and burn in their mark. The pawprint of every wolf is different in some way. The spacing between the pads, the size. They were all different.

Bam Bam smiled, and casually padded over to the large rock. He cocked his head, confused at all the paw marks engraved into it's surface.

Why are there paw prints? Bam Bam asked curiously.

They are the paw prints of every wolf magician there has ever been... Granbull smiled. Up there at the top is the first wolf magician, Darkria. And down here... The newest and possibly most powerful... Shadow.

Bam Bam grinned. He poked his muzzle at Shadow's paw print, and snuffed it. Strangely, it still bore his wonderful, rich scent. He was really starting to miss his Master. It was so... Different without him!

Legend has it, that once a wolf magician places his paw upon this rock... His or Her powers will be magnified and he will be one with those before him or her. He or She will be one with those that came before. Granbull turned his head away from the stone and looked up to the sky... They will have the power, wisdom and knowledge of all the wolves before him.

Nipur looked on in awe at the huge stone, she looked at Shadow's paw. So modest and normal looking... Yet so great and different. She then looked at the paw before Shadow's. Who's print is that? She asked.

That was the print of Shadow's master. A wise wolf he was before he went bad... His name was Firedeath... Granbull bowed his head slightly... He was my father.

Nipur jumped back, No! No! Firedeath can't be my grandfather! She barked. YOU'RE LYING!

Bam Bam growled. You're father! YOU'RE FATHER! He was astonished. The wolf that he had been scheming to kill Shadow, and with the help of the fallen Apprentices, Carnage and Dash...

He stopped growling and sighed. Granbull wasn't a bad wolf... Not like his Father. He could feel it.

Yes, my father... But when he met my mother he was a good wolf... A wolf magician and a kind one at that. He only went mad with grief after my mother's death... Granbull shook his head, I could of saved her... But I hid and cowered whilst the taillesses killed her...

Nipur just lay down, this was all too much...

Bam Bam sighed. He didn't know why he was hearing all of this. He didn't know how he belonged.

I... I don't see how any of this has to do with me... I didn't need to know that he was your Father! He barked.

Yes you did... Because then I could tell you this final piece of information before I leave... Granbull stopped, My father is the only one that knows the secret of the stone... The only way you can place your print upon the stone and become a full wolf magician, is to ask him...
